NAMGAR is proud to announce that we are hosting a Spring Regional in Savannah, GA from April 15-19, 2013.

Our host hotel is the Best Western Plus in the Historic District, 412 W Bay St, Savannah, GA and room reservations must be made by calling 912-233-1011, mention NAMGAR to get the rate of $129 per night. There is an additional daily charge of $10 per day for parking; this is one place where the parking is non-valet on a flat lot near the rooms. Click here for more information on the host hotel.

Save the dates and make your room reservations! Plans are being put into place for each day. If there is something you’d like included, please email the NAMGAR Vice Chairman. There is a narrated trolley tour of the city followed by passes that allow you to hop on – hop off the rest of the day. A super way to learn about the city and then have the opportunity to explore those parts of interest to you! A night at the Savannah Theatre is preceded by exploring the local pubs and parks that have been seen in various movies. Plans are under way for a drive to Savannah’s beach area, Tybee Island where we can tour the lighthouse, put our toes in the sand, have lunch, or find a unique gift from one of shops.

If you’ve heard about this coastal jewel of a city and have always wanted to visit, come join us as “NAMGAR Tours Savannah”.

Further details of the event will be posted on the NAMGAR website as they become available.

Wow - looks like a great regional - nice going Carol!

Melon and I are beginning to make plans - will probably travel down along the coast from Long Island, NY, including a swing through the Outer Banks.
