Dave and Laurel Godwin are currently planning their next adventure in their MGA. The cars will be shipped to Santiago, in Chile, in early January 2015. After clearing the cars through Customs, the group will drive south to Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina (day 20).

From there, they plan to drive north through Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Columbia in South America. In Columbia (day 67) they will arrange to ship the cars to Panama, to get across the Darian Gap. In Central America they will travel through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico.

On approximately May 1st (day 91) they will cross the US/Mexico border at Douglas in Arizona. In the USA, their plan is to drive through Arizona, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Washington. They will have done around 17,000 miles to this point.

The route is presently being tweaked and when it is finalized, this website will post a list of US cities they are passing through. They would welcome meeting MG Clubs and MG owners at their night stops. The cars will be parked (day 105) for the fall and winter of 2015 in Vancouver, BC. The travelers will return to Vancouver in the Spring of 2016 to drive to Alaska, and then across Canada.

They invite MG owners in the US and Canada to join them for the complete drive, or for portions of it. Contact Dave by email if you're interested in joining the group.
