The convoy of ten MGs left Cape Town, South Africa, to start their journey north on September 9th.  To date (September 27th), the cars have driven through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and into Tanzania (the half way point of the trip).

The rough roads have, unfortunately, battered the cars, with all but two being afflicted by some mechanical maladies. To read about their trials so far, after approximately 5,000 miles, click here.
